The St Georges Church family is involved in many outreach programs including support for a Refugee Committee; OSHaRE a local hunger and relief effort; and several national and international development efforts through the National Church.

We are also involved in our own neighbourhood through the 4th Avenue Revival aka "The Hood". This effort included 4th Ave Open Door Drop In every Thursday afternoon, community dinners once a month, and the occasional lawn party.  Open Door is a drop-in centre located in the basement of the Parish Hall and is open to anyone on Thursdays from 3pm to 6pm. Coffee, tea and soft drinks are available and there are games and jigsaw puzzles set up.
