Pastoral Care provides caring support to those at home, in long term care facilities,and in hospital. Confidentiality is essential. Anything shared between the pastoral care giver and the person being visited will not be shared with anyone else, unless permission has been given.Good listening skills, a non-judgmental attitude, an open mind, respect, compassion, empathy, and sensitivity to the needs of others, are the many gifts required in pastoral care givers. Pastoral Care is available to members, and as part of our Outreach into the community.
